Microdosing has become a popular way to get the benefits of psychedelics without getting high. Entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley are pioneers in this trend. Many of them report using a small dose of psilocybin to improve their creativity and focus. Some of them hope that this will give them a head start in a highly competitive industry or be inspired to the next million-dollar idea. The practice of microdosing was examined in a recent study published in the journal Psychopharmacology. Dutch researchers studied the effects of small doses of psilocybin on creativity and problem-solving. At a Dutch Psychedelic Society event, they tested participants before and after they were given a microdose. The results showed a marked improvement in both divergent and convergent thinking, while fluid intelligence was not affected. While this research is preliminary, it still shows that microdosing magic mushrooms can boost creativity in the same way as a full psychedelic dose. Creativity is an essenti
